THE BLOCK: Bitcoin and gold are the two worst-performing major assets so far in 2026, with BTC down 7.3% and gold down 7.5%, according to Charlie Bilello, Chief Market Strategist at Creative Planning. Bilello noted this is the first time the two have ranked at the bottom together in any calendar year in his data.
