BNB Chain is launching a new L1 token, still using BNB. The old EVM architecture is clearly insufficient, so a new high-performance L1 chain needs to be built to expand it. Binance has no shortage of users and funds, but even with tweaks and improvements to the existing chain, it's still difficult to meet the performance requirements. Therefore, using a new chain is reasonable.
