iFixit, a leading repair organization, has analyzed and pointed out that some consumers have recently reported their foldable iPhone Duo models experiencing internal screen cracking shortly after unpacking. The analysis suggests a design flaw in the mechanical structure. It's suspected that components, support rods, or guide rails within the hinge may not have moved aside in time when the phone was folded, and dust may have gotten stuck, causing the soft screen to crack. Therefore, the cracked internal screen becomes visible when the phone is unfolded.
