@chamath recently suggested Bitcoin will eventually be hacked and go to zero. Interestingly, Chamath previously claimed to have controlled nearly 5% of all Bitcoin. Assuming this was around 2012–2013, that could have been ~300,000–600,000 BTC, worth $30–60 billion at $100K/BTC. He now says he owns no Bitcoin directly. I wonder how much of his recent Bitcoin derangement syndrome stems from the opportunity cost of selling one of the largest Bitcoin positions in history.
