[Galaxy Research Uncovers Bitcoin's "Gibberish Inscriptions" for Three Consecutive Weeks: Don't Over-Interpret Hidden Information, It May Be Script Testing] Galaxy Research published an article revealing Bitcoin's "gibberish inscriptions," pointing out that over the past three weeks, the Bitcoin network has seen approximately 40 inscriptions composed of random letters appearing daily. While the content appears to be encrypted text, it is not actually cipher information. Galaxy Research analyzed 562 of these inscriptions and found that the frequency of the 26 English letters appeared between 3.6% and 4.2%, significantly different from the letter distribution in normal English text. On-chain transaction behavior also shows clear automated characteristics. Related transactions typically include an input, a new change address, and an OP_RETURN data output. Subsequent transactions continue to spend the change from the previous transaction, forming multiple consecutive transaction chains, the longest of which reaches 86 transactions.
