[China's National Information Security Vulnerability Sharing Platform Releases Remediation Recommendations for PHP Remote Code Execution Vulnerability, Requires Comprehensive Review of Network Assets] According to TechFlow, on October 25th, the National Information Security Vulnerability Sharing Platform (CNVD) released a "Security Announcement Regarding Analysis and Remediation Recommendations for the PHP Remote Code Execution Vulnerability," advising affected users to closely monitor official information and download and update to the latest version through official channels. For users temporarily unable to update, CNVD recommends taking measures to reduce some attack paths to mitigate the vulnerability threat, and continuously monitoring behaviors such as abnormal PHP process exits, abnormal system command calls, creation of unfamiliar processes, and abnormal file writing, while retaining logs for source tracing and analysis. CNVD also recommends that information system operators strengthen security protection, comprehensively review network assets, adhere to the principle of "no internet access unless absolutely necessary," and reduce the public network exposure of information systems. Units that do not yet have the conditions for remediation should take temporary measures such as network isolation, network access restrictions, and taking non-essential business systems offline.
