I think most of us ordinary people need to be brave enough to admit that we're here to speculate, even with a strong element of gambling. The value investing methods of Duan Yongping and Buffett aren't suitable for most people for two reasons: First, since it's value investing, it should require a complete pricing ability—what is the reasonable price of a stock or a coin? We don't have that pricing ability; most of the time, we just guess. Second, the time frame isn't suitable. They can hold for years, while we buy in the morning and want to sell in the afternoon—how can that be value investing? We're here to speculate.
