Binance's points prediction feature includes the League of Legends World Championship; participating brings back some of the fun of being a guy. The day before yesterday, all LPL teams received national subsidies in the first round, and last night AL lost to TES, so my prediction failed and I had to start over. There are many ways to earn points, including daily check-ins, so the competition is fierce.
There used to be a 5-minute BTC price prediction, thankfully it's been cancelled. Currently, the prediction event already includes the Premier League, NBA, financial reports... a lot of competitions, the pace is already fast, there's no need to add an even faster 5-minute market, otherwise scientists will monopolize the market.
Seeing the Thunderbird collaboration is even funnier; it's basically a binary option betting on BLG winning the championship. The purchase cost is 2300, and based on a resale price of 1500, you gain 1500 if they don't win, and lose 800 if they do.
The break-even probability of winning is about 65%, currently the probability of BLG winning on Binance's prediction event is 13%, it feels like it could go even lower.
