If there is a chart that shows BTC and crypto are maturing, it is this. This shows the implied volatility on Bitcoin options. As you can see, with some heavy spikes every now and then aside, this is clearly trending lower over time. Throughout bull and bear periods, volatility is diminishing and that is a fact. It is a shame we don't have 2017 or 2021 data on here because that would dwarf whatever is going on here now.
