Chinese troops have pitched tents six to seven kilometers inside what India sees as its border. 🇨🇳🇮🇳 That is according to Indian government sources quoted by The Hindu. The spot is Asaphila, near Taksing, in Arunachal Pradesh. It began in late July, on a routine patrol near Maja. Both sides pulled back. Then, sources say, the Chinese returned in bigger numbers and dug in. Now India is raising drone platoons and building underground shelters along the line. In 2020 a clash in Galwan killed 20 Indian soldiers. Patrol season in these mountains ends this month. And the tents have not moved.
