I've written before about why there might be a price spike during the low liquidity period over the weekend; it's simply because next week will continue to be volatile. However, the FOMC meeting is coming up soon, followed by the PCE data release, and then the month will be over. Then, after the midterm elections on November 3rd, the biggest negative factor will have been priced in. I firmly believe that a rebound will occur after liquidity improves in November.
