Yesterday morning, Coinbase posted "Coinbase is open for AI agents." I'm more concerned about the suggestion in their documentation: allow agents to open individual portfolios and only deposit funds they can afford to lose. One of the fixes for merging the x402 repository at the same time was to refuse settlements exceeding the authorized amount. The wider the door is opened, the more crucial the gates must be installed first. Who is responsible if an agent places an incorrect order? The official answer is on the user's side. COIN The last sentence, "The official answer is on the user's side," is something I deduced from the documentation suggestion; @coinbase's original post didn't say it directly. For a more conservative approach, it could be changed to "The official team has already provided a risk warning to users!"
