Recently, market strategies and manipulation techniques seem to be changing. For example, with ORDER, the recent negative expense ratio when it rose initially raised our suspicion that it was a bull trap, with market manipulators taking advantage of the situation to dump their holdings.
However, the reality is that while market manipulators were pumping up the price, they were actually absorbing sell orders in the spot market. The same applies to BIRB.
These types of assets share similarities: small market capitalization, and initially minimal changes in OI (Original Price Index). The initial surge was due to spot market absorption, with OI only showing some change after the price increase.
There are likely two reasons for this: firstly, spot market absorption; secondly, market manipulators are also anxious about market changes and want to grab a share of the market before liquidity worsens.
Once the market has figured out the manipulators' usual tactics, they will adjust their strategies.
This type of manipulation has a drawback: market consensus is not strong, requiring constant monitoring, and the volatility is high. There may be a second phase to follow.
