According to relevant information, Gate Futures LLC announced on September 1, 2026, that it had completed its Independent Introducing Broker (IB) registration with the U.S. CFTC and become an NFA member.
The role of an IB means that Gate can provide regulated derivatives trading services to U.S. clients through its partners.
This aligns with the news disclosed on October 23 that Gate has signed a prediction market cooperation agreement and is currently advancing technology integration and product development.
While prediction markets are still somewhat controversial in the U.S., on October 9, the CFTC proposed new rules to further clarify that contracts related to events such as sports, politics, culture, and weather fall within its regulated derivatives scope.
Gate, by maximizing its efforts around this time, could potentially benefit from the midterm elections.
