The SEC just released its 2027 exam priorities, and the message to Wall Street is clear:
TL;DR: If your tech fails, it's on you.
Under Reg SCI (Systems Compliance and Integrity, the SEC rule requiring exchanges to keep tech from crashing), regulators are zeroing in on:
• Tokenized securities
• AI / super intelligence
• Quantum computing risks
• Cloud and third-party vendor outages
If an algorithm glitches, on-chain rails freeze, or AWS goes down, the SEC won't accept excuses. Wall Street's plumbing must stay online.
