22 US-listed companies have collectively said "no."
Wells Fargo, Arm, Intuit, Microsoft, Alphabet… 22 issuers have officially opposed listing their stocks on the OKX×ICE tokenization platform. This platform originally planned to trade 63 US stocks 24/7, but SEC exemptions granted issuers a 30-day withdrawal period.
This illustrates a point: the biggest risk in tokenizing US stocks isn't technology, but rather the issuers' willingness to cooperate.
For ordinary users, the question is actually simpler: Is what you buy with USDT actually real stock?
Do you care more about 24/7 trading or real stock backing?
