These past couple of days, I went to claim @DowProtocol's rewards on Sui and discovered that the extra Vault rewards had to be claimed on BNB Chain.
Wow, I was trying to get rewards on Sui, and suddenly I was redirected to BNB Chain!
This strategy is reminiscent of cross-chain referrals in the internet industry. You weren't planning on going to another chain, but just to claim the rewards, you connected your wallet and got exposure to the product. Now you have an entry point for attracting users.
Looking at what BNB Chain has been releasing lately, it really seems like they're trying to have it all.
They have Ondo and xStocks for stock tokenization, @UTechStables' $U for stablecoins, and DeFi, needless to say, has a strong foundation.
I think this area is worth watching. With more on-chain products, they need to find ways to connect them. Like United Stables, by partnering to find use cases for $U, users have more options for their stablecoins.
Returning to @DowProtocol, they provide e-commerce financing. Simply put, merchants sell their goods, but the platform hasn't settled the payment yet; there's a cash flow need in between, and that's the business they're in.
RWA's ability to integrate into this specific business is more interesting than just discussing the industry's trajectory.
This award ceremony has provided a small entry point; we'll see how many practical applications it can generate within the BNB Chain ecosystem.
