The troubled season of public chains: L2 chains are shut down intensively, and L1 chains are frequently stolen. Just now, another L1 chain @ initia was hacked and suspended from generating blocks. Hackers exploited a bug related to MoveVM on Initia L1 to mint unlimited coins, and then drained the liquidity of Ethereum's real reserves through cross chain bridges. As of now, hackers have extracted $2.6 million in liquidity from Initia related bridge assets. The entire chain of Initia has only $5.8 million in TVL, and hackers have indirectly drained nearly half of the liquidity of this link.
