YZi Labs launches the first Atlas Scout program to help the new generation of college student entrepreneurs receive early support
BlockBeats News: On October 23rd, according to official sources, YZi Labs announced the launch of the first Atlas Scout program, recruiting four students from Stanford University, Yale University, University of California, Berkeley, and UCLA to participate in early-stage investment projects in Web3, artificial intelligence (AI), and biotechnology. The program aims to provide excellent college students with early exposure to venture capital, participate in project exploration, preliminary research, due diligence, and investment judgment, and encourage them to organize entrepreneurial communities and explore investment opportunities on campus. YZi Labs will provide up to $1 million in potential investment opportunities for the program and open up its ecosystem of over 300 portfolio companies. YZi Labs states that many potential entrepreneurs often explore in laboratories, open source projects, campus entrepreneurial organizations, and technology communities before entering traditional financing channels, and their peers who learn and work with them often discover their potential earlier. The Atlas Scout program aims to leverage students' own campus networks to assist early entrepreneurs in obtaining capital, mentorship, and industry resources. Eligible entrepreneurial teams also have the opportunity to connect with YZi Labs' EASY Residency project or further explore investment cooperation with them. The Atlas Scout program not only expands financing and resource channels for early entrepreneurs, but also allows participating students to accumulate venture capital experience through practical projects, enhance project evaluation, founder communication, and investment judgment abilities. YZi Labs stated that Scout can independently carry out campus activities based on their own interests, such as organizing technical exchanges, gathering entrepreneurial teams, or exploring potential investment projects, and receive guidance and ecological resource support from YZi Labs during the process. This program aims to establish connections when entrepreneurial projects have not yet received widespread attention, giving initial ideas on campus the opportunity to develop into practical projects, while cultivating a new generation of investors who can identify technological trends and entrepreneurial potential earlier.
