Two new indices further expand the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's independently compiled index series and provide benchmarks for investors to capture opportunities brought by the two major technology themes of artificial intelligence and semiconductors. Among them, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Artificial Intelligence Index tracks the performance of 40 Hong Kong listed companies highly related to the artificial intelligence industry chain, covering companies in the five layer architecture related fields of the artificial intelligence ecosystem such as chip design, data centers, artificial intelligence infrastructure, artificial intelligence models, and software and physical applications.
