Hong Kong Stock Exchange: Launching Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductor Index Odaily Planet Daily News: Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited announced today (Friday) the launch of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Artificial Intelligence Index and Hong Kong Stock Exchange Semiconductor Index, authorizing Southern Fund to launch ETFs in mainland China that track the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Artificial Intelligence Index. The Hong Kong Stock Exchange Semiconductor Index tracks the performance of the 30 largest semiconductor related companies listed in Hong Kong. The newly launched two indices further expand the independently compiled index series of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and provide benchmarks for investors to capture opportunities brought by the two major technology themes of artificial intelligence and semiconductor.
