Hong Kong Stock Exchange launches AI and semiconductor index According to TechFlow, on October 23rd, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited announced the launch of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Artificial Intelligence Index and Hong Kong Stock Exchange Semiconductor Index. The newly launched two indices further expand the independently compiled index series of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and provide benchmarks for investors to capture opportunities brought by the two major technology themes of artificial intelligence and semiconductor. The Hong Kong Stock Exchange Artificial Intelligence Index tracks the performance of 40 Hong Kong listed companies highly related to the artificial intelligence industry chain, covering companies in the five layer architecture related fields of the artificial intelligence ecosystem, including chip design, data centers, artificial intelligence infrastructure, artificial intelligence models, as well as software and physical applications.
