Actually, on the evening of October 20th at around 9pm Beijing time, I saw a transfer of 8173 BTC to Coinbase, which belongs to short-term holders (STH).
From then on until 2am on the 21st, there were continuous transfers. After the fact statistics: a total of 20679 pieces per day.
At that time, BTC only experienced a shallow callback from $83189 to $82464; I didn't notice any major changes in the market, so I didn't pay too much attention and didn't post any reminders to everyone.
But in real-time, this is the second largest transfer scale in the past year, second only to January 13th (when BTC rebounded to $95000). Among them, 14690 are profit chips, and the other 5989 are loss chips.
Do you understand? What is the mentality of selling BTC even now??? )
I didn't expect these guys to start making efforts when BTC rebounded to nearly 8.5w later on. The large amount of profitable chips and other factors that drive up shipments should still be related to the current macroeconomic environment in the United States.
Especially with the recent adjustment in the technology sector of the US stock market, the situation in the Middle East has pushed up oil prices, and inflationary pressures have not yet eased. US dollar funds need to reassess risk budgets for various assets.
Fortunately, at present, this wave of selling pressure is almost exhausted, and Coinbase's BTC balance is also starting to decline. Let's observe for another 2 days to see if it can continue.
Hey Anyway, this time I was careless. I didn't expect this grandson to use 10% of his strength
