The trading volume of on chain options is still less than 1% of the perpetual contract DEX, while the trading volume of traditional market options is about three times that of futures. In the cryptocurrency industry, options are no longer played by anyone, and retail investors are becoming more picky. The attractiveness of options is far less than that of perpetual contracts. This presents an interesting paradox: To attract safe haven funds, on chain options must first have sufficient liquidity and cheap quotes; But to form liquidity, sustained trading demand is needed, and the most active speculative funds have already been permanently drained. As a result, speculators feel that options are not convenient enough, while professional institutions find the liquidity of on chain options too poor, and neither side is pleasing. So here comes the question...: Is there a future for on chain options?
