Paranoid developer proposes EIP-8288 heterogeneous recursion and authentication library solution Foresight News reported that Paranoid developer Ignotus Nemo proposed a recursive aggregation scheme for EIP-8288 at the Ethereum Research Forum. It is suggested to consider supporting multiple approved proof sizes to enable small-scale aggregation to use smaller proofs. Ignotus Nemo has implemented heterogeneous recursion in the Paranoid system and has run two state transition proofs of different sizes on the public main network. This scheme uses a limited authentication validator library to handle cross class delay validation through independent accumulator channels for each class, ensuring the correctness of matrix declarations in recursive steps. In addition, it also explores how to merge sub libraries and handle dependency relationships when applying this mechanism to EIP-8288, as well as semantic compatibility issues between program identity and validator classes. \EIP-8288 was proposed by Vitalik Buterin and Thomas Coratger in June 2026, mainly to solve the problems of large volume and high cost of on chain verification in post quantum signatures and STARK proofs.
