According to official sources from Espresso, benchmark tests of its upgraded mainnet showed a data throughput of 181 MB/s in a 100 node environment simulating global network latency. Based on an estimated 180 bytes per stablecoin transfer, it can theoretically support over 1 million transfers per second, with an average final confirmation time of 778 milliseconds under peak load. This upgrade will move the block construction to the validator node internally, using a fully connected encrypted network to achieve message single hop transmission, eliminating the independent data availability committee, and replacing it with consensus voting to prove data availability. It will also introduce XOR erasure codes and BLAKE3 hashing to reduce computational overhead. https://(wublock123.com)/news/espresso-mainnet-benchmark-181mbs-throughput-1m-tps-70552
