Amp opens Orbs self hosting: personal free, enterprise version comes with built-in computing power but still requires payment
Dynamic Beating AI News: AI programming tool Amp has opened Orbs self hosting. Orbs is a development environment for AI agents to work independently, originally mainly running on Amp's cloud. Now users can deploy it to their own Mac, Docker containers, or Kubernetes clusters, and it also supports sandbox platforms such as E2B, Modal, and Vercel. Amp is responsible for scheduling, while users' own machines are responsible for executing tasks, as well as creating, pausing, and restoring environments as needed. Individuals and regular teams can use self hosted Orbs for free, but still need to bear their own computing power and model costs. Starting from October 29th, the enterprise version will not only have to provide its own servers, but also have to pay according to the same computing power standards as Amp's official Orbs hosting.
