Anthropic and OpenAI Get 80% of Enterprise Revenue from Just 1% of Clients, Token Spending Stalls for Two Months After analyzing payment data from over 70,000 U.S. companies, corporate card company Ramp found that around 80% of enterprise revenue for Anthropic and OpenAI comes from just 1% of their top clients. Ramp's Chief Economist Ara Kharazian stated in the October AI Index Report that enterprise token spending saw almost zero growth in August and September. While early October hit a new high, it was only 1.5% above the August peak, mainly due to ongoing price reductions for models. In September, the enterprise AI adoption rate for paid services rose by just 0.62 percentage points to 55.9%. According to the Ornn Index, the actual token price for Anthropic's clients dropped from over $1.70 in mid-September to $0.83.
