Canadian Bitcoin hardware wallet manufacturer Coldcard, Coinkite Inc., and its CEO Rodolfo Novak are facing a class-action lawsuit in Ontario. Plaintiff Amir Reza Naderi has filed a civil lawsuit in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Toronto, case number CV-26-00018158-0000. The Canadian Bar Association's class-action database also lists Coinkite's CTO, Peter D. Gray, as a defendant. The lawsuit aims to represent consumers who purchased Coldcard Mk2, Mk3, Mk4, Mk5, and Q series devices. Back in July, Coldcard was found to have a firmware random number generation vulnerability that had persisted for five years, potentially allowing attackers to deduce some wallet seed phrases. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/coinkite-coldcard-firmware-rng-bug-class-action-canada-70506
