BitGo Launches Innovative Division BitGo Labs, Initially Focuses on AI and Crypto Intersection

According to The Block, crypto custody company BitGo has announced the establishment of its research and innovation division, BitGo Labs, with the goal of designing and launching the next breakthrough application in the crypto space. The initial focus will be on the intersection of AI and crypto. BitGo stated that the AI economy requires crypto financial infrastructure to handle micropayments, enable instant settlements, and ensure asset security. BitGo Labs has launched several projects in its first phase, including the consumer-grade application Gokubu, which is already live. This application uses AI-driven cards to help users optimize spending and provides each user with a personalized AI financial assistant. BitGo Labs will also release research, develop prototype protocols and reference implementations, and collaborate with developers, academia, and institutions in the crypto and AI fields.
