After the U.S. stock market opened today, the seesaw logic between SPCX and the 'Storage Trio' seems to have been reactivated. However, tomorrow SPCX will face the unlocking of 1.3 billion shares. Although previous unlocks didn’t cause a significant drop in stock price, this time feels different. First, 1.3 billion compared to 319 million—this is four times the previous amount. Second, this round of unlocking mainly involves institutions and VCs. The good news is that they are less likely to sell compared to employees. The biggest difference lies in the price. Previous unlocks happened at lower price levels, so the selling pressure wasn’t strong. But this time, it’s hitting the sweet spot, and if selling pressure is high, there’s a chance it could mirror Intel’s post-earnings surge in July, which was followed by a two-day drop. At the same time, the 'Storage Trio' is currently at relatively low price levels, which means the seesaw logic between the two might reverse starting tomorrow. However, considering political factors, Musk-related stocks are unlikely to see a major drop before the 11/3 midterm elections. Especially since Tesla is set to release its earnings report after the market closes today, which might further boost confidence with potential merger announcements. So, looking at the bigger picture, even if the seesaw logic reverses, it might just lead to SPCX fluctuating within a range, while the 'Storage Trio' could outperform the market later with an earnings-driven rebound. @BITstocks_CN Buy U.S. stocks on BIT—10,000+ U.S. stocks and ETFs, real holdings, and enjoy dividend payouts.
