[Analysis: Bitcoin Likely to Maintain Fluctuation Between $81,300 and $84,400 Ahead of Fed Decision] Odaily Planet Daily News – Bitfinex stated that despite Bitcoin facing multiple downward pressures, it has consistently held the lower end of its range. It is expected that BTC will fluctuate between $81,300 and $84,400 until the Federal Reserve's FOMC interest rate decision on October 28. If the price tests the upper boundary of the range, short-term traders taking profits may bring some selling pressure. In terms of market data, on October 19, Bitcoin spot ETFs saw a net inflow of $526.7 million, indicating an increase in spot demand. However, BTC prices remain narrowly fluctuating between $81,724 and $83,470 and are still below the average cost of $84,333 for ETF investors. Meanwhile, open interest in futures on major exchanges has rebounded by 4.2% from the October 12 low to 645,410 BTC, and funding rates have normalized, suggesting a recovery in leveraged long positions. In the options market, the nominal open interest for options expiring on October 23 is $1.23 billion, with the maximum pain point around $82,000. For monthly options expiring on October 30, the scale reaches $11.2 billion, with the maximum pain point at $76,000. On-chain data shows that approximately 145,000 BTC have been added in the $82,224 cost range, while around 62,000 BTC have exited the $80,353 cost range, indicating that some holdings are migrating to higher cost ranges. The short-term holder SOPR is approximately 1.003, with the proportion of profitable supply at about 70%.
