SPCX jumped about 8% after its earnings report, and Tesla shareholders are already sitting up straight: same boss, can we get a surprise tonight too? But looking at the candlestick chart, Tesla seems to have already priced in some of the expectations. OKX The current stock price has rebounded continuously from around $350 to $383, climbing back above the moving average shown in the chart, and once again hitting the $380-$385 resistance zone that has been tested multiple times since September. Indicators are recovering: after a low-level golden cross on the KDJ, it’s moving up quickly; the short-term RSI is nearing 70; MACD’s negative bars are shrinking, and the two lines are converging. However, the trading volume of the last two bullish candlesticks hasn’t expanded, which suggests the rebound has strength but lacks confirmation for a breakout. Short-term sentiment is strong ahead of the earnings report, but chasing the rally here is like grading Musk’s paper in advance. SpaceX is being boosted by better-than-expected profits and potential merger news. For Tesla to take the baton, we’ll need to see automotive gross margins (excluding regulatory credits), free cash flow, and progress on Robotaxi commercialization. If the earnings report delivers and the stock breaks above $385 with volume, the next target is $395-$400. If it spikes but fails to hold, look for support around $370 first, then $350. A post-earnings gap could also skip over these levels entirely. Join us tomorrow night, October 22nd, at 8:00 PM (Hong Kong/Beijing time) on OKX’s U.S. stock livestream to break down the earnings report and review the price action https://www.(okx.com)/zh-hans/livestream/stream-room/7270647176662983076
