[Dogecoin Foundation and Others Establish Dogecoin Labs to Integrate Wallet, Application Network, and Merchant Payment Tools]
Foresight News reports, according to CoinDesk, that the teams behind the Dogecoin wallet MyDoge, application network DogeOS, and merchant payment tool Such App will collaborate with the Dogecoin Foundation to establish Dogecoin Labs. This organization will own and operate the three products mentioned above, with MyDoge and DogeOS founder Jordan Jefferson serving as CEO.
According to the plan, developers will build applications on DogeOS, holders will access these applications through MyDoge, and merchants will use Such App to accept DOGE payments. Currently, the beta version of Such App supports invoicing and offline QR code payments, while integration with DogeOS is still in the planning stage. MyDoge has stated that its user base has exceeded 500,000. The Dogecoin Foundation and its commercial arm, House of Doge, will contribute intellectual property and development teams. The foundation will continue to focus on open-source development support, advocacy, and community work, while Dogecoin Labs will concentrate on products and commercialization. DogeOS launched its public testnet on September 30, enabling developers to build Ethereum-style lending, trading, and gaming applications.
