[NVIDIA and Nokia to Explore Transforming Communication Networks into Distributed Intelligent Platforms] NVIDIA announced that major global telecom operators are expanding NVIDIA accelerated computing technology into communication networks to provide services closer to users and enterprises, improve wireless communication experiences, and achieve automated network operations. T-Mobile has completed the world's first commercial network AI-RAN call; Deutsche Telekom, BT Group, and Elisa have announced AI-RAN pilot projects. NVIDIA has also introduced two Aerial RAN Computer configurations designed for intelligent computing and wireless access network workloads at high-capacity sites. Additionally, nine telecom operators across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are building or expanding infrastructure based on NVIDIA technology, while Nokia and Cisco are integrating NVIDIA's Nemotron open model into autonomous network operations software.
