Decentralized GPU cloud computing network Aethir has released an update to its tokenomics model. Starting from November 2026, a portion of the network fees will be used daily to burn ATH tokens, which will be sent to a public black hole address. The daily burn amount will be determined by a public formula and its parameters, directly tied to the network's actual revenue. Additionally, Aethir will replace fixed platform fees with a floating network fee, calculated using a time-weighted average price (TWAP) formula. When the market weakens, fees will decrease, and the proportion allocated for burning will increase. The floating network fee will have a cap, ensuring it does not exceed the value of cloud host rewards, and no floor, allowing it to drop to zero during market downturns. The token release plan for cloud hosts will remain unchanged. A burn dashboard will go live in November alongside the first burn, displaying daily, monthly, and cumulative burn amounts as well as complete transaction records. This burn mechanism has been audited by CertiK. The total supply of ATH tokens is fixed at 42 billion.
