Just discovered that the WIN version of Doubao Input Method got an update, so I rushed to try it out—mainly because I was a bit dissatisfied with TYPELESS's speed and annoyed by the possibility of losing voice input if the network disconnects. But turns out, it's unusable—because with Doubao's input mode, you either have to long press or tap to activate input. The problem is, in a PC/Mac environment where we’re multitasking while talking, Doubao treats any key input as an interruption to the conversation! I can’t believe a big company’s product could be this dumb. So you’re telling me I can’t do anything else while using voice input? I can’t talk and simultaneously check the document I’m working on or anything else to keep my thoughts flowing? I’ve said before, Musk’s first principles might be one of the greatest “theories” of all time. If you just think a little more, how could you ever assume users wouldn’t need to multitask while using an input method? Sigh, the world really is run by amateurs.
