Did you know how Anthropic views the partnership of leasing SpaceX's computing power in their IPO filing? Anthropic is worried that about 1/3 of the revenue tied to operational capacity could have its computing power supply reclaimed by upstream at any time. The company even admitted that it is in a 'passive dependency' state when it comes to critical computing power. Why is Anthropic concerned about this? Because the grok model is also iterating, bot growth is super fast, and SpaceX's own AI products also need computing power. People always find something to worry about—upstream worries about downstream not being able to pay, while downstream worries about computing power being taken back.
