[Iranian President: Prerequisite for Negotiations is the U.S. Lifting Pressure, Threats, and Sanctions]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on October 21, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated during a meeting with Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir that all issues in the region, from escalating tensions and conflicts to chaos in the Strait of Hormuz, are caused by U.S. aggression. The U.S. cannot simultaneously increase sanctions and pressure, blockade Iran, and claim to seek dialogue and negotiations. Iran has been and remains willing to engage in dialogue, but the U.S. must first lift its threats and sanctions before any talks can take place. If they truly seek dialogue and agreements, their current actions are entirely contradictory to their statements and lack any logic. Raisi emphasized that the U.S. absolutely cannot achieve its goals through war, as it will only lead to destruction and losses—not just for Iran but for the entire region—something Iran is firmly unwilling to see.
