[Qatar States U.S.-Iran Nuclear Talks Are Ongoing] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on October 21 (local time October 20), Majid Al-Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Qatar and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated at the 8th Global Security Forum held in Doha that despite escalating tensions in the Middle East, negotiations between the United States and Iran regarding Iran's nuclear issue are still ongoing, with both sides maintaining diplomatic contact. Al-Ansari noted that the lack of publicly available information on the progress of the talks does not imply that the negotiations have stalled. He pointed out that behind-closed-doors diplomacy can enhance the likelihood of successful mediation, and the absence of public updates may actually indicate that mediation efforts are progressing effectively. Al-Ansari emphasized that Qatar will continue to play a diplomatic mediation role, drawing on past experiences in conflict resolution to address challenges posed by various disputes and to promote the resolution of regional conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic means.
