Wu Blockchain has learned that Bitcoin sidechain Liquid Network announced on October 20th that it has entered the final phase of its staged recovery. The new federation software has been successfully deployed, and semi-automatic BTC to L-BTC conversion services will gradually be opened through relevant service providers, with no transaction volume limits set at the protocol level. Currently, direct peg-out withdrawals from the federation remain restricted and will only reopen once Bitcoin reserves are fully restored to support L-BTC at a 1:1 ratio and the remaining security checks are completed. Previously, Liquid Network experienced a security breach on September 6th, during which approximately 4,000 BTC were transferred out, with around 3,400 BTC already returned.
