After 2 months of silence, the hacker who stole from Drift has started transferring the stolen ETH funds into Tornado Cash for mixing. These stolen funds are likely almost impossible to recover. The Drift team had anticipated this and completed a post-crisis rebranding to @VelocityDEX a few months ago. Ironically, the bond vouchers (DFX) issued by Drift to affected users previously still have a 3.5x premium as of now.
