[JPMorgan: CoreWeave Debt Sell-Off Poses Limited Risk to Global Banks] Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on October 20, JPMorgan estimated on Tuesday that most global banks have limited exposure to CoreWeave (CRWV.O). This comes after the cloud computing company, backed by NVIDIA, saw its stock and bonds plunge sharply last week due to investor concerns over its debt financing issues. JPMorgan stated that while the potential exposure of major U.S. investment banks and Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group to CoreWeave may range between $1 billion and $3 billion, most European and Asian participants have exposure of less than $500 million. The majority of this is through delayed-draw term loans, which are primarily held via special-purpose entities, with funds released as project milestones are achieved. From the perspective of financing banks, JPMorgan believes that banks have managed their exposure to CoreWeave appropriately and that there is very robust collateral in place. (Jin10)
