Suddenly realized that the 4 security incidents that happened intensively this month have attack surfaces covering the entire stack— Ledger / CryptoBilis: Physical supply chain XRP: Protocol-level payment code vulnerability (discovered by AI) Cysic Bridge: Cross-chain bridge validation and minting authorization Qubic: Private key generation mechanism We’ve always been pursuing trustlessness, but many trust relationships in reality haven’t disappeared—they’ve just been shifted to places where users are less likely to notice. And with the emergence of AI, this issue is only going to get bigger. Even those old protocols that have been running for years without major security incidents might gradually face scrutiny. Feels like the security model of crypto is bound to undergo a major shift sooner or later. Looking at it this way, is there even such a thing as a truly secure 'mainstream coin,' except for bitcoin:native?
