Whoa! JPMorgan predicts Bitcoin's returns over the next 15 years for the first time: 10% annualized, outperforming U.S. stocks and gold! On October 19, JPMorgan Asset Management released its 2027 *Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions*. For the first time in the 31-year history of this institutional investment report, Bitcoin's long-term return forecast was officially included. Expected annual compound returns for various assets over the next 10–15 years: Bitcoin: 10.0% U.S. Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs): 8.2% U.S. Large-Cap Stocks: 7.5% Gold: 5.5% Bitcoin is ranked ahead of these traditional asset classes. JPMorgan even provided a 20.9% arithmetic average annual return, but also predicted an annualized volatility of 55%, significantly higher than U.S. stocks and gold. In the past, Wall Street debated whether Bitcoin had any investment value at all. Now, JPMorgan is using the same framework as stocks and gold to calculate its returns and risks over the next 15 years. From being questioned as a speculative asset to being included in Wall Street's long-term capital market forecasts, Bitcoin is crossing a critical institutional recognition threshold.
