[Trump Publicly Thanks Musk for 'Nationwide Airdrop,' Calling Him a 'Legendary Friend'] BlockBeats News, October 20: This morning, U.S. President Trump posted a message expressing gratitude to Musk for the 'nationwide airdrop.' Trump stated, 'Heartfelt thanks to our legendary friend Elon Musk, who generously donated SpaceX shares to millions of American children through the TRUMP account! This is precisely the vision we had when creating the TRUMP account—bringing together the great private sector, Elon, and many other forces to invest in our children. They are our most precious and important asset, ensuring every American child can have a share of the American Dream.' Yesterday, Musk posted that next year he will gift one share of SpaceX stock to every child in the United States, describing this as the first of many similar initiatives in the future. Some market analysts have pointed out that Musk's move is partially motivated by supporting Trump's midterm election campaign.
