Foresight News|Oct 20, 2026 02:32
Foresight News reports that Google will update its Financial Products and Services policy. Starting October 21, advertisers promoting crypto trading platforms, crypto wallets, CFDs, and forex services targeting the UAE must obtain a license from one of the following authorities: CMA, DFSA, FSRA, or VARA. They must also complete Google certification and comply with other local legal requirements.
For advertisements promoting crypto exchanges and wallets as complex speculative financial products, the licensing requirement will be CMA, DFSA, or FSRA. This policy applies to all relevant advertising accounts globally. In the future, Google will issue warnings for violations, and accounts may only be suspended at least 7 days after the warning.
