The crypto industry super PAC Fairshake's affiliate organization, Protect Progress, reported spending $362,000 to the U.S. Federal Election Commission (FEC) in support of California's 14th Congressional District Democratic Representative Aisha Wahab for the November midterm elections. Wahab had already defeated fellow Democrat Melissa Hernandez in the August 18 special election with 53.1% of the vote. Both candidates were previously rated as strong crypto supporters by Stand With Crypto. Fairshake is ramping up its midterm election investments, with its affiliates also spending $8 million and over $6.7 million on ad campaigns for Senate races in Ohio and Nebraska, respectively.
