[Lombard Odier Believes the Dollar Will Strengthen Further] According to reports from CaiLian News Agency, as U.S. economic growth becomes more robust and concerns over the Federal Reserve's independence ease, the outlook for the dollar has improved. Lombard Odier & Cie has turned bullish on the dollar, reversing its previous bearish stance. The institution has lowered its forecast for the euro against the dollar from $1.14 to $1.09 and raised its forecast for the dollar against the Swiss franc from 0.83 francs to 0.85 francs. Additionally, it has adjusted its view on the dollar against emerging market currencies to neutral. This marks Lombard Odier's latest move to further soften its bearish stance on the dollar; in June, the institution had already upgraded its dollar allocation recommendation from underweight to neutral.
