Whoa, Saylor is talking so boldly now: 'Our company can buy up all the newly mined Bitcoin globally!' Saylor's triple flywheel: ① Issue preferred stock and other credit products to raise funds, then use the money to buy BTC. ② If continuous buying pushes BTC prices higher, the company's asset value increases, and the valuation premium of common stock might expand as well. ③ Leverage the higher stock valuation to raise more funds, and as the value of BTC reserves rises, credit risk and financing costs are expected to decrease—then issue more credit products to buy even more BTC. The whole process keeps cycling, using Wall Street's capital markets to purchase Bitcoin, which has a limited supply. Bitcoin is currently adding an average of only about 450 coins per day, roughly 164,000 coins per year. Strive, this company, has bought 5,311 BTC in the past two weeks alone, which is already close to the global new supply during the same period. If 10 companies adopt this strategy in the future, the supply of new coins won’t even come close to meeting their theoretical purchasing demand. I just want to ask Saylor quietly—if Bitcoin keeps dropping, won’t the upward flywheel turn into a death spiral?
